Ignorance has been proven to be the major reason why so many people try to lose weight without success. The truth is, if one is ignorant, one tends to fall for many silly superstitions and wrong ideas if weight loss. There is the general ignorant belief around that to lose weight; one must actually reduce the intake of foods with carbohydrate. They tend to belief that carbohydrates are actually bad for weight loss and that if the intake of carbohydrate can be reduced or avoided, one will lose weight. But alas, this is absolutely the other side of the truth!
First and foremost, I will like to classify carbohydrates into two major types. The carbohydrate that is good for the body and the carbohydrate that is bad for the body. Are you surprised? Do not be, please read on! Obviously, one does not need to be told to avoid the bad carbohydrate before one does neither does one need to be told to embrace the good carbohydrate before one does. But which carbohydrate is good for the body and which is not?
Carbohydrates that are beneficial to the body are always in those natural foods that most people do not care to take regularly like fruits, vegetables, seed and co. The fact that these foods contain carbs actually make people believe they are not good for the body, but do not be deceived, the carbs that are present in these foods are actually the ones the body needs. They do not contain fats as you might have been made to believe. The kind of carbs found in these kind of foods are good for the body unlike the kind of carbs found in processed food (they are the ones that contain fats). Another reason why these foods are good for the body is the fact that they contain a lot of fiber which helps to keep you full for a long time thereby suppressing your appetite. What more could be good for the body than these kinds of foods?
On the other hand, the carbohydrates that are bad for your body are those one finds in processed foods such as pasta, cakes, soft drinks, chips and co. These foods are full of carbs; note that these kinds of carbs are those that are not hygienic for the body! These foods actually have in them nutrients before being processed by when they become processed, they must have passed through a lot of processes thereby they must have lost heir natural nutrient value. What you only get from them are empty calories that do nothing but help you gain weight. These food types are absolutely bad for the body.
All these said, one needs to have it at the back of the mind that not all carbs are bad as explained earlier. The logic is to select the right that contains the right carbs. Once this is done then the problem of weight loss is being solved.
